Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Pinnacle are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, for a contractor, who operate within the Utilities, water, Power and have a £200m project in the Oxford area.\n\nDuties:\n\n * Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates and detailed project budgets for projects.\n\n * Monitor project costs throughout the life-cycle, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing variances.\n\n * Provide strategic advice on cost planning and procurement strategies to optimize project outcomes.\n\n * Manage the preparation, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts, including variations, claims, and disputes.\n\n * Ensure that contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as client specifications.\n\n * Oversee the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.\n\n * Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favourable outcomes for the project.\n\n * Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.\n\n * Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders, highlighting key cost drivers and variances.\n\n * Identify and assess risks associated with projects, including cost overruns, delays, and contractual disputes.\n\n * Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes.\n\nThey are looking for someone with a proven track record working on civil infrastructure projects ideally within the utilities sector.\n\nSalary upto £75,000 + allowance and package.\n\nIf you are interested and want to her more please apply today
