Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're now looking for a Senior\nQuantity Surveyor to join our team taking\ncommercial lead on a project in\nDarlington, where you'll play a\npivotal role in the successful delivery of\nthe Pollam Hall\nSchool project – a high-profile scheme that\nwill leave a lasting legacy.
\nYour role:\n
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor,\nyou'll take commercial oversight on this exciting project, managing\ncost and risk while ensuring value for money and contractual\ncompliance. You'll be involved from early-stage feasibility through\nto final account, working closely with internal teams, clients, and\nsupply chain partners.
\n
You'll also:
- Lead\nprocurement and manage subcontractor packages
- Prepare and assess applications for payment
- Monitor project expenditure and produce CVRs
- Manage change control and mitigate commercial\nrisk
- Mentor junior team members and share your\nexpertise

\nWhat we're looking\nfor:

We're after someone with...

- A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
- Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience in main contracting and large-scale 2-stage\nbids
- A collaborative, trusted, and focused\napproach – aligned with Kier's values
- A full\nUK driving licence
