Senior Quanitity Surveyor



This is a full Shell & Core MEP installation project running from September 2025 to August 2027.



You will act as the Number 2 to the Commercial Director, supporting all aspects of commercial management across the project lifecycle. This is a site-based role, and the successful candidate will be fully integrated within the project delivery team on-site



Key Responsibilities:



* Lead the commercial management of the project in conjunction with the Commercial Director



* Cost planning, procurement, contract negotiation, and subcontractor management



* Valuations, variations, and change control



* Cash flow forecasting and cost reporting



* Final accounts preparation and agreement



* Ensure compliance with ESG commercial procedures and policies



* Risk management and value engineering



* Attend and contribute to site progress and commercial meetings



* Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors



* Identify and implement opportunities for commercial improvement·



* Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in M&E or construction surveying, with at least 2 years in a senior role·



* Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP projects, ideally within the Shell & Core commercial sector

· Strong understanding of NEC or JCT contract forms



· Excellent financial and contractual acumen



· Strong IT skills – including Excel and commercial management software (e.g., Causeway or similar)



· Excellent communication and negotiation skills



· Must be willing to work on-site full-time for the duration of the project



· Right to work in the UK
