We are looking for a Senior QA Test Automation Engineer to join our agile development team. You will play a key role in building robust and scalable automated test solutions for APIs and integrations that support both current and future applications. This role emphasizes collaboration, quality, and a shift-left testing mindset to catch issues early and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to develop and test backend APIs.

• Work alongside QA engineers to automate newly defined and legacy test cases based on documented requirements.

• Participate in backlog grooming and requirement refinement to ensure testability and clarity.

• Drive early defect identification by embedding quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Convert manual test cases into reliable automated scripts to improve testing speed and coverage.

• Integrate test automation across multiple environments and data states (mocked and real).

• Track and report test metrics including number of test cases created, executed, and defects identified.

• Support and improve QA documentation and best practices across the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.

• Proficiency in API testing and validation.

• Experience with the following tools ():

  • Cypress

  • Postman

  • Karate Framework

  • QTest

• Familiarity with contract testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding of SQL for test data validation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in healthcare or health tech environments.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated tests.
