A privately held engineering and manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Scheduler to join their team. In this role, you will work with engineering and program teams to prepare schedule data for programs, projects, proposals, and contract negotiations. You will be responsible for integrating schedules, establishing workflows, identifying restraints, and developing recovery plans, while using Earned Value techniques to provide Program Management with insights on project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare schedule data for programs, projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain schedules for assigned discipline areas or specialties.
  • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), determine activity durations, and establish workflow logic ties.
  • Monitor schedules, identify critical activities, and provide updates as needed.
  • Generate critical path reports and schedule performance metrics.
  • Identify and report activities that could impact schedule performance.
  • Monitor, validate, and evaluate subcontractor schedules, recommending improvements or workarounds.
  • Present schedule information and reports in internal and external meetings.
  • Support interdisciplinary requirements and ensure projects remain on track and on time.
  • Travel occasionally as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 8 - 10 years of project scheduling experience.

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMI Earned Value Management Professional (PMI-EVMP) certification is a plus.

  • Prior aerospace or Department of Defense program planning and scheduling experience.
  • Strong background in schedule development, monitoring, and control.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
