Job Description
Local. Long-term. Career-defining.
This is a rare opportunity to join a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme based in the Bishop’s Stortford area on a long-term project with real impact and stability.
The role is for a Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor with solid NEC contract experience, ready to take responsibility and ownership of high-profile infrastructure schemes and grow with a business that promotes on merit, not time served. The suitable individual will be at established QS level ready for the step up or at Senior QS level looking for progression.
What makes this different? It’s a local project, meaning no long commutes or hotel nights. It’s a long-term programme, with secured work for over five years. It’s a major infrastructure work, valued at over £100m. You’ll be joining a respected, innovative Tier 1 contractor with a reputation for delivery and progression.
You’ll be leading your own schemes with autonomy, working alongside a high-performing team, driving commercial excellence, and building a career — not just filling a role.
Salary in the area of £75,000 to £85,000 plus car and corporate benefits
