What you will do:

  • Manage large-scale customer projects for the implementation and integration of Salesforce capabilities in client environments. Collaborate closely with onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams from Persistent to ensure quality, timeline, and budget adherence, with hands-on project delivery.
  • Effectively manage client-side and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal project fulfillment.
  • Coordinate technical implementation work, gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and design and roll out processes within the client organization.
  • Identify new growth opportunities based on market knowledge, personal network, and Salesforce technology trends within top-tier and mid-tier customer segments.
  • Assist clients and Persistent in developing business cases for solutions that provide value to customers. Participate in and lead the RFP process with prospective customers alongside colleagues from business development, account management, and solution architecture.
  • Coordinate the design of Salesforce solutions, conduct demos, and oversee proof of concepts.
  • Manage effort estimation and contract negotiation processes for new deal proposals.
  • Maintain day-to-day collaboration with the customer, including managing potentially difficult stakeholders.
  • Oversee capacity planning and staffing in collaboration with Persistent support functions.
  • Take responsibility for risk assessment and implement mitigation actions as needed.

Experience you bring along:

  • Master in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Informatics.
  • Strong experience in the insurance industry (e.g. underwriting) and possibly banking.
  • 12+ years of experience in successfully managing and guiding complex IT projects regarding end-to-end solutions, capacity planning, execution, budgeting, and rollout together with appropriate stakeholder management.
  • Multiyear and multi-project experience in the implementation of digital transformation and IT software projects in various industries.
  • 8+ years in engaging with prospective clients for new deal preparation and closure.
  • Industry experience in one of the following industries: banking, utilities/energy, retail, or media.
  • Experience in front-to-back transformation projects is strongly desired.
  • Strong communication skills including experience in presentation for and management of senior stakeholders.
