Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) to lead the stabilization, optimization, and remediation of our recently implemented Oracle HR system. The implementation spans the full suite of Oracle HR modules, but has encountered significant challenges that require immediate leadership, coordination, and problem-solving.The ideal candidate will bring strong project management discipline, hands-on knowledge of Oracle HR modules, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, Oracle support, and external partners to ensure a stable and high-performing HCM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Governance
- Lead the stabilization and remediation project for Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion), ensuring clear ownership of issues, timelines, and resolution paths.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive project plan, including issue tracking, task assignments, and milestone reviews.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, escalation calls, and steering committee updates with leadership and key stakeholders.
Issue Remediation & Functional Oversight
- Review and categorize existing issues across all Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation, Time & Labor, Recruiting, Onboarding, etc.).
- Work with functional SMEs and technical teams to triage, prioritize, and resolve system and process defects.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Oracle support and implementation partners to drive timely fixes and escalations.
- Coordinate end-to-end UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for issue resolutions and module refinements.
Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
- Act as the central liaison between HR, IT, external consultants, and Oracle, ensuring alignment and transparency across workstreams.
- Drive effective change management and training initiatives, ensuring that impacted users are informed, trained, and supported as changes are deployed.
- Translate complex technical or system-related challenges into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline, reconfigure, or enhance module configurations to better align with business needs.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all fixes, enhancements, and updated processes.
- Define and implement post-remediation governance models to monitor system health and manage future changes effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years leading Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or remediation projects.
- Strong understanding of the full Oracle HCM Cloud module suite and how these modules integrate.
- Proven ability to rescue and stabilize troubled implementations through structured project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with vendor and Oracle support coordination, including escalation and SLA management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership and accountability for delivery.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) or demonstrable expertise in multiple modules.
- Experience with global HR implementations, including multi-country payroll or compliance considerations.
- Familiarity with data migration, security configuration, and integration challenges in Oracle Cloud HCM environments.
