Senior Project Manager - Heavy Civil/Highway

Our client is seeking a

Senior Project Manager

to lead large-scale public infrastructure work in Charlotte. This is a high-impact role with a stable and respected heavy civil contractor known for tackling complex DOT and public-sector projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead project teams with a focus on safety, productivity, and personnel performance

Manage construction operations including budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and risk

Oversee field operations, productivity, and value engineering opportunities

Contribute to estimating and supplemental agreements as needed

Build and maintain strong client relationships and support new business development efforts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

10+ years of heavy civil or DOT construction experience

Experience with Aviation/Airport projects is a plus

Experience with project management, scheduling, and field operations

P.E. license is a plus
