Job Description
Astute's Renewables team is partnered with established anaerobic digestion business who design, build, own and operate assets. They're looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to support with their expanding portfolio.\n\nThe Senior Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to £90,000 (depending on experience), Car allowance, bonus, pension, private health and dental care.\n\nIf you're an experienced Project Manager and are looking to work for an established and growing business, then submit your CV to apply today. \n\nResponsibilities and duties of the Senior Project Manager role\n\nReporting to the Head of Projects, you will:\n\nManage all phases of the project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Design, Execution, Control & Monitoring, and Completion.\nLead project planning including scope, timelines, resources, budgeting, and WBS.\nTrack project performance using KPIs and proactively address risks and delays.\nPrepare weekly/monthly reports and dashboards for stakeholders and steering groups.\nAct as the Primary liaison for the client, Stakeholders, Consultants, Contractors, and Local Authorities and Local Community Relations\nManage all project documentation and control systems.\nOversee quality assurance to ensure compliance with design, construction, and commissioning standards.\nIdentify and manage project risks and issues, maintaining RAID and decisions registers.\nLead change management processes and coordinate approval of variations.\nManage contracts, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and resolve claims\nCollaborate with finance team to control project budgets, forecasts, and cashflows.\nCoordinate project completions, from engineering to handover and operator training.\nEnsure regulatory compliance, including HSE, CDM, EA, and other UK standards.\nManage internal and external project meetings, contractor resources, and site activity.\nOversee procurement strategies and design coordination.\nMonitor schedules to ensure delivery on time and to budget\nOther duties as required \n\nProfessional qualifications \n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nNVQ 5, HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.\nProject Management Certificate.\nHSE Certification in Managing Safely.\nFull UK Driving license.
\n\nPersonal skills \n\nThe Senior Project Manager role would suit someone who has:\n\nFive years of experience working on Anaerobic Digestion "Gas-to-Grid" Projects, or a similar (Water Treatment, Energy from waste ect)\nStrong Working Knowledge of MS Office Programs and Project Planning Software such as Procore\nExcellent Communication and Interface Skills\nMust be willing to commute to the client's head office in Peterborough and to Project Site Locations in the UK \n\nSalary and benefits of the Senior Project Manager role \n\nA salary of up to £90,000 depending on experience\nCar allowance\nBonus\nHealth and Dental care\nOther benefits discussed at interview\nThe chance to join an established and expanding business\n INDREN\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
