Job Description

URGENT CONTRACT ROLE: Project Manager – Markets Operations

Contract: Until 30/09/26

Rate: £620/day (Umbrella)

Sector: Global Markets Operations / Risk & Controls / Enterprise Resilience

We’re seeking an experienced Project/Programme Manager with strong exposure to Operational Resilience, Continuity of Business, or Outsourcing within financial services.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver enterprise resilience & critical outsourcing initiatives end-to-end
• Map critical business services & dependencies (people, tech, data, third parties)
• Run severe-but-plausible scenario testing + after-action reporting
• Identify and remediate operational risks & control gaps
• Manage milestones, deliverables, RAID items & stakeholder reporting
• Contribute to MCA updates and ongoing monitoring
• Partner across Markets Ops, Risk, Enterprise Resilience & Audit

What You’ll Bring

• 6–10 years in risk-focused PM/BA roles in financial services or investment banking
• Strong Markets Operations & control framework knowledge
• Payments / funds-movement experience a bonus
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to deliver under pressure across complex, global teams
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & process-mapping capability
• Highly organised, detail-driven and proactive
