Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Contracting

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple mechanical projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
• Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources allocation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance against established benchmarks and KPIs.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership and guidance to project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the mechanical contracting industry, with a focus on HVAC or plumbing systems.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
