Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage teams, facilitate meetings, and ensure successful project delivery while adhering to quality standards.
Duties
- Lead project planning and execution by defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean) to guide project teams through the project lifecycle.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or Jira.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during project phases.
- Oversee budget management and cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders through regular updates and meetings.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any issues that arise during the project lifecycle to identify solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners as necessary for project success.
- Apply quality management principles to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
- Utilize data analysis skills for informed decision-making throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior project management roles with a strong understanding of the project management lifecycle.
- Familiarity with PMBOK guidelines and various project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet).
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery.
- Experience in program development, design, and implementation across diverse projects.
- Knowledge of budgeting, risk management, earned value management, and scope management principles.
- Proficiency in process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management techniques.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects is a plus; experience with IT project management methodologies is .
