Job Description

Project Scope:
The Clark County IT, Digital Services team is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Project Manager for projects involving enterprise platforms and solutions, and digital transformation.

Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Reviews and evaluates projects and the internal project management processes; coordinates with County or contract staff and ensures projects' goals and objectives are achieved.
2. Provides navigation through complex and sensitive project areas and supports the Business Analyst team on project issues.
3. Assists in developing procedures and standards for the projects to which they are assigned.
4. Develops deployment strategies for Business Systems Analysts under the framework of Clark County IT's goals for projects.
5. Reviews and analyzes alternatives and makes recommendations regarding procedure development and project implementation standards.
6. Confers with and represents Clark County in meetings with staff from other departments, representatives of governmental, community, business, professional and public agencies and the public.
7. Leads the work of professional, technical or support staff on a project or day-to-day basis under the direction of the IT Manager.
8. Supports the maintenance of and/or maintains accurate records and files related to assignments.
9. Prepares a variety of technical, statistical and narrative reports, correspondence and other written materials.
10. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
11. Uses standard office equipment, including a computer, in the course of the work; specified positions may drive a County or personal motor vehicle to attend meetings and visit work sites
