Piper Maddox is partnered with a rapidly growing renewable energy platform focused on acquiring, developing, financing, and operating distributed generation assets across the United States.

As the company's transaction pipeline continues to expand, they are looking to add a Project Finance Analyst / Associate to a highly collaborative team responsible for executing acquisitions, financings, and strategic project transactions. This is an execution-focused role offering direct exposure to senior leadership, live deals, and a growing portfolio of late-stage renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting acquisitions, project financings, and investment decisions
  • Lead financial due diligence and transaction execution across a portfolio of late-stage distributed generation projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with development, legal, engineering, and executive leadership throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Evaluate project economics, investment returns, financing structures, and commercial assumptions
  • Support M&A activity, project acquisitions, and strategic financing initiatives from initial evaluation through closing
  • Work across multiple active transactions simultaneously in a collaborative, execution-driven environment

What We're Looking For

  • 3–6+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, M&A, corporate finance, or other transaction-intensive finance environments
  • Direct experience supporting live transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution
  • Strong background within distributed generation or renewable energy, with experience evaluating project-level investments
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to independently build and analyze complex transaction models
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility and strong technical performance throughout your career

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-capitalized, high-growth renewable energy platform where you'll gain meaningful exposure to complex transactions, work alongside experienced industry leaders, and play a key role in scaling one of the company's most critical functions.
