This prestigious multi-disciplinary project, valued at over $600M, offers a long-term opportunity as you play an essential role contributing to the project’s success. From the initial project startup to on-site construction and commissioning support, you will be involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle.As a pivotal team member, your role as Project Engineer will primarily focus on the initial setup of the project, based initially out of our Victoria Park head office. Subsequently, you will transition to a site-based position undertaking a 2:1 FIFO roster (ex any capital city) during the construction phase. The role of a Senior Project Engineer will be to provide engineering services and project management support for assigned projects. Provide advice and support for staff involved on the project/ contract and coach and mentor less experienced engineering staff.Key responsibilities include:Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required Lead the procurement and work pack development for the project Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project Why Us?We provide the benefits you’d expect from a leading Australian company, but what makes us different?Our work.
