NOV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for our Plant Projects department. In the department of Plant Projects, we handle large investments on machinery, and we are dealing with new equipment as well as improvement and refurbishments of existing. Equipment is large and engineeringly challenging, and good engineering design as well as efficient implementation can have a high impact on final product as well as on usability, safety, reliability and eventually turnover.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive plant projects from concept to execution in close collaboration with stakeholders in Denmark and Brazil, ensuring alignment, transparency, and momentum throughout.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure they have the right input, clear deliverables, and a firm commitment to deadlines.
- Define and communicate task scopes and expectations to external vendors to ensure smooth execution and contractual alignment.
- Follow up on the delivery of critical components and services, ensuring implementation is on time, efficient, and aligned with project goals.
- Maintain and update project plans and budgets, keeping all stakeholders informed and prepared for any adjustments.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring clear communication and issue escalation where needed.
- Oversee the handover process, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are properly briefed and supported during project transitions.
- Ensure accurate, compliant documentation is in place and aligned with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Engineer or similar strong technical background
- Experience with project management and/or coordination within production
- Experience within metal or other heavy industry
- Experience with data-based root cause analysis – certification within Six-Sigma will be an advantage
- Experience with implementation in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding and interest of machine operation and process stability
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Experience in working in project teams and on-time delivery
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Danish and/or Portuguese
- Experience in offshore oil & gas equipment engineering
- Accustomed to working within a matrix organization
- Enjoyment of team collaboration and social engagement
