About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer - Nuclear to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India. In this critical role, you will lead and manage complex nuclear engineering projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of nuclear engineering projects, adhering to strict safety standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for nuclear power plant design, operation, or maintenance initiatives
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for nuclear engineering projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success
Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses related to nuclear systems and components
Develop and review technical documentation, including design specifications, safety reports, and regulatory submissions
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team
Stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear engineering technology and industry best practices
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree
Professional Engineering (PE) license required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in nuclear engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Advanced knowledge of nuclear engineering principles, practices, and regulatory standards
Expertise in nuclear power plant systems, components, and radiation protection principles
Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management
Proficiency in CAD software and nuclear simulation tools
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
