Senior / Project Engineer [ Civil | Pre-cast | CSD | SEM | Design & Build ]

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with clients and sub-contractors on all project aspects, providing technical and non-technical resolutions, and maintaining proper documentation.

Lead and supervise teams (e.g., supervisors, foremen) to coordinate works with main/sub-contractors, consultants, and authorities.

Assist in preparing method statements and construction sequences for effective project implementation.

Engage in project planning and scheduling, including evaluation of required project resources.

Participate in Civil Structure Design (CSD) and Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical (SEM) design development.

Liaise with consultants on construction drawings, as-built drawings, design analysis, and approval processes.

Attend weekly progress and design coordination meetings with clients and consultants, discussing construction methodology, quality control, and resolving technical issues.

Assist in the planning and deployment of resources including manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials.

Propose construction sequences and assess effects on existing structures, recommending remedial actions when necessary.

Assist in preparing project presentations and in the submission of method statements and risk assessments to clients/consultants.

Support in identifying and resolving discrepancies or problems during construction.

Assist the Project Manager with project costing, monthly progress claims, and reporting.

Work with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) to verify progress payments and claims.

Coordinate handover of completed works, including rectification of any defects or outstanding work.

Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and health regulations on-site.

Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and safety practices.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board

3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Design and Build projects, with pre-cast construction.

Proven experience in site execution, technical resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
