Senior Project Engineer

WeConnect Energy are actively recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support ab E&P Operator on a long term decommissiong campaign in the UKNS.

This is a permanent staff role and will be responsible for delivery of decommissioning projects, working with the technical leads, contractors and verifiers. 

• Work with the Decommissioning Manager and Decommissioning Team Lead to support the development of people within the decommissioning department
   
• Be aware of the roles and responsibilities for team members allocated to the project, get to know their capabilities and development aspirations and support this where possible in project activities
   
• Ensure compliance with the Decommissioning Programme and any other regulatory interfaces on the project
  Develop and maintain a positive company culture, including promoting the company Mission Statement and Core Values
   
• Perform a Safety Leadership role on projects, ensuring a cohesive approach to safety and committing to no harm to people and no adverse impact to the environment
   
• Demonstrate an exemplary safety leadership standard, and provide clear direction on SHE expectations by communicating effectively
