Our prestigious client based in Cambridge are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to join a high-performing team that designs and delivers executive learning programmes for leaders and managers across sectors. About the role ... As a Senior Programme Manager you’ll lead the planning, resourcing, and delivery of a portfolio of open enrolment programmes. These high-touch learning experiences are designed to develop leadership, innovation, and strategic thinking. You'll co-manage a team of Programme Managers and collaborate with learning designers, faculty, and external partners to deliver events and courses that consistently exceed expectations.

This role blends project management, change leadership, client engagement, and operational delivery. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and enjoys building better systems and experiences from the ground up.

What you'll be doing ...

Drive improvement and innovation

  • Lead operational change, adopt new tools and technologies

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making

  • Support the adoption of new systems and ways of working across the team

Own programme planning & delivery

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of learning programmes (in-person, online, hybrid)
  • \n

  • Manage logistics: venues, accommodation, catering, AV/IT, virtual platforms
  • \n

  • Ensure an outstanding experience for participants and clients throughout
  • \n

Lead and support your team

    \n
  • Line manage and mentor Programme Managers
  • \n

  • Allocate resources and ensure balanced programme coverage
  • \n

  • Champion a culture of quality, consistency, and collaborative problem-solving
  • \n

Work closely with stakeholders

    \n
  • Liaise with internal teams, faculty, and suppliers to deliver high-quality programmes
  • \n

  • Build strong relationships with participants, clients, and delivery partners
  • \n

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve project planning and communication
  • \n

Manage budgets and reporting

    \n
  • Track and control costs, manage invoicing and supplier payments
  • \n

  • Report progress and risks to leadership using data dashboards and status updates
  • \n

About you ...

  • Proven experience managing complex projects, programmes, or events

  • A strong understanding of operations and stakeholder communication

  • Location: Hybrid, with 2+ days in office per week and regular onsite delivery

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • \n

  • Hours: 40 per week, with some flexibility for evening/weekend events
