Job Description

Senior Manager, Program Finance

A leading organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Finance to join during a period of significant transformation and growth. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving financial performance, insight, and control across complex programmes.

Key Skills & Experience Required

Financial & Technical Expertise

• Strong grounding in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment (including standard costing)
• Experience working with government contract standards (local and/or international)
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles ()
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ability to conduct variance analysis and scenario (“what-if”) modelling

Analytical & Problem-Solving

• Advanced analytical capability with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear insights
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on improving performance and profitability

Leadership & Communication

• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional stakeholders
• Confident presenting to senior leadership and executive audiences

Systems & Tools

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., OneStream, EPICOR advantageous)
• High level of overall digital and financial systems literacy

• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and lead others
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Pragmatic, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Strong communicator with a clear and structured approach

Additional Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional qualification advantageous)
• Eligibility to obtain government security clearance

This role is based on site 4 days per week with a base salary of $150-160,000 per year with excellent benefits and bonus.
