About the Role:
This role is a temporary contract role. While it may transition to full time employment this is a fixed length engagement for 3-9 months. The Senior Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role requires overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The Senior Program Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program performance and mitigate risks proactively. They will serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and project teams, translating business goals into actionable plans. Ultimately, this position is critical in delivering high-impact solutions that advance the company’s mission and foster sustainable growth.
Please note this position is based in Orange County, California. Preference is given to local candidates. There will be no relocation allowance associated with this job for external candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale programs with multiple interdependent projects.
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
- Experience working in technology, healthcare, or finance industries.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact program success.
- Monitor program progress and performance metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage expectations to ensure program objectives are met.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance program delivery efficiency.
- Lead and mentor project managers and team members to build a high-performing program management function.

The Senior Program Manager will utilize strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate complex programs and guide diverse teams toward common goals.
