Senior Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Phiston Technologies is looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.

To be successful as a warehouse supervisor, you should have experience optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should also be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead the daily activities of the production and warehouse team
• Developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production objectives
• Monitoring production processes to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently, and identifying areas for improvement
• Coordinating and assigning tasks to production staff, and ensuring that all staff members receive appropriate training to perform routine duties effectively
• Conducting regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify potential issues and coordinating with staff to make sure repairs happen as necessary
• Ensuring that quality control standards and protocols apply to a production process and addressing quality-related issues that may arise
• Managing inventory levels and coordinating with supply chain staff to ensure that raw materials, and other supplies are available according to the schedule
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Ability to lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood

​Qualifications:

• Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field .
• Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership qualities
• Knowledge of production management.
• Understanding of quality standards & safety regulations.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Technical and analytical mindset to deal with arising complexities in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines
• Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time
