Job Description
Senior Product Manager - Integrated Hardware & Software Products - EV Charging
Location: Hybrid (Manchester-based, 3+ days onsite)
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus & benefits
About the Role
We're supporting a fast-growing business that's redefining how people charge their EVs — by building a product-led, user-first platform where hardware and software work seamlessly together.
They’re now hiring a Senior Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering product-centric solutions that span the physical (hardware) and digital (software) worlds.
This isn’t a back-office coordination role - it's about owning the product: defining the vision, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring that both technical feasibility and customer experience are at the core of every decision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full product lifecycle for a tightly integrated system that brings together embedded hardware and user-facing software
- Translate market needs, customer feedback, and business strategy into a clear and actionable product roadmap
- Work closely with engineers (hardware, embedded, software) to understand constraints, manage trade-offs, and push for outstanding outcomes
- Champion product thinking: everything from product architecture to go-to-market alignment
- Collaborate with distributed engineering and operations teams in Europe and align product delivery with strategic goals
- Use frameworks and structured thinking to lead complex decisions across technology and business functions
What We’re Looking For
- Product-centric background in organisations building and scaling integrated hardware/software products (e.g. EV tech, IoT, mobility, connected infrastructure)
- Strong ability to connect the dots between technical systems and real-world user needs
- Experienced in influencing senior stakeholders and balancing competing priorities without losing sight of the product vision
- Strategic and systems thinker who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments
- Comfortable working in high-growth, fast-paced settings where autonomy and initiative are essential
