Role summary
Hiring a seasoned, product-oriented engineer excited to own features end-to-endfrom customer conversations to system design to QA. Ideal for someone with 8-15 years of engineering experience and a track record of building high-quality, user-centric software. This person will shape not just the codebase, but also product direction, company process, and culture.
Responsibilities

Build across the full stack (TypeScript, React, Remix, Tailwind, Postgres)

Lead end-to-end product development cycles

Collaborate cross-functionally with founders and engineers

Define architecture and systems that support rapid iteration

Take initiative in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and delivering results
Must-have qualifications

5-15 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer (no Solutions Engineers or Technical Consultants)

Strong product ownership mind set experience building end-to-end products, not just APIs or infra
-
Track record of work at:

A top-tier university (~top 30) or elite engineering program (e.g., Waterloo, GT)

OR a top-tier startup (under 300 employees, VC-backed)

OR a name-brand tech company with high engineering bar
-
Hands-on coding and architecture in the last 3 years
-
Full-stack engineering experience with modern tools (e.g., TypeScript, React, Remix, Postgres)

Clear communication around product thinking and user impact
qualifications

8+ years of experience, ideally at the Senior or Staff Engineer level

Startup experience in a VC-backed company building real product
-
Demonstrated initiative through side projects or open-source work

Experience with LLM-integrated products a strong plus

Strong backend experience in Python or Go with frontend fluency in React/Next.js

Familiarity with SDLC: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, version control
