- Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status)

Part A: Job Specification
Job Purpose
- Advise and support process engineering and flow assurance activities at senior engineer level during EPC and startup phases until handover to the permanent asset.
- Ensure project deliverables meet Operations expectations in terms of safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
Reporting and Relationships
- Reports to: Head of Engineering
Internal
- Regular contact with Project Management Team and Operations departments.
- Periodic contact with Engineering & Projects and HSEQ Group.
External
- Frequent contact with shareholders subject matter experts, EPC contractors, vendors, suppliers, and engineering consultants.
Job Context & Major Challenges
- Effectively influence project decisions considering both CAPEX and OPEX over the project life cycle.
- Ensure compliance with company specifications, processes, and procedures for assigned projects.
- Participate in reviews and provide technical input to designs and procedures for implementation of approved field operations, while mitigating new technology risks introduced by the project.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide process engineering technical and specialized expertise to Operations in areas such as design reviews, HAZID/SIL/HAZOP, Management of Change, risk assessment, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, punch list items, warranty claim resolutions, and safety and reliability improvements.
2. Support development of Standard Operating Procedures required for new projects.
3. Develop and implement process surveillance tools for Operations assets in line with surveillance plans to ensure safe, reliable, and optimum production, including troubleshooting, engineering recommendations, and timely escalation of threats and deviations identified through surveillance monitoring.
4. Actively participate in system completions processes and walk-downs prior to commissioning and startup (for example, witnessing chemical and catalyst loading).
5. Provide technical input within area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as required to support overall business objectives.
6. Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie-in requirements for all systems under area of responsibility.
7. Maintain an issue register, identifying and resolving critical issues, including new technology risks under area of responsibility that could impact project reliability, availability, and cyber security. Prepare discipline handover packages for the operating company following startup.
8. Support high-risk commissioning activities for complex and large-scale projects by:
- Undertaking stringent system surveillance
- Tuning and optimizing systems
- Providing advisory support to Operations and Maintenance

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 6 years experience in an oil and gas environment.
Technical and Business Skills
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Conversant with company, national, and internationally accepted specifications.
- Computer literate with advanced knowledge of relevant engineering software tools and systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work and make sound decisions under highly stressful conditions.
