Were now looking for a Senior Process Development Technologist to join our R&D team in Worksop and play a key role in shaping our long-term innovation pipeline.This is an exciting opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, influence future manufacturing processes, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to bring new ideas to life.What you'll be doing?As a Senior Process Development Technologist, youll operate at the forefront of process innovation, helping to unlock new opportunities across our portfolio.You will:Identify and develop new product and process pathways to enhance performance and efficiencyLead and manage cross-functional projects across R&D, Operations, Engineering and QualityConduct trials, scale-up activities and troubleshoot existing manufacturing challengesExplore and implement innovative solutions to improve consistency, reduce waste and optimise processesSupport new factory and line development opportunitiesCollaborate with suppliers, universities and external innovation partners to build strong networks and bring fresh thinkingEnsure compliance with food safety, regulatory and quality standards , including audit readinessMentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practicesWhat we need from you?Were looking for someone who combines technical expertise with curiosity and a passion for innovation.Youll bring:Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Engineering or a related disciplineExperience in a food manufacturing environmentKnowledge or exposure to processes such as thermal processing, extrusion, baking or agglomerationStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and improve processesExperience working with third-party manufacturers or suppliersExcellent collaboration and communication skillsConfidence working with data and tools such as ExcelWhy Join us?Work on innovative projects that shape a 310 year pipelineGain exposure to a wide range of brands, technologies and manufacturing environmentsCollaborate with a network of industry-leading partners and academic institutions Be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvementClear progression opportunities towards Process or R&D Manager rolesReady to apply?Click Apply and submit your CV tailored to this opportunity.
