Senior / Principal Civil Engineer (Consultancy)

MillTech is working closely with a leading engineering firm dedicated to delivering innovative infrastructure solutions. They have a history of excellence and a commitment to sustainability; they are seeking a highly experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead their civil engineering projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee large-scale civil engineering projects from conception through to completion

* Provide technical expertise and ensure design integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations

* Manage project teams, coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams

* Develop project proposals, budgets, and schedules

* Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff

* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery

* Ensure quality control and risk management throughout project lifecycles

Qualifications & experience needed:

* A degree or HND in civil engineering

* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional registration

* Extensive experience in civil engineering, with significant leadership roles

* Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects on civil engineering aspects of a range of schemes

* Proven track record managing complex infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage, or similar

* Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and regulatory requirements

* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

* Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, project management tools)
