Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to lead the development of next- DC-DC converter technologies for advanced computing, telecommunications, and high-performance applications.


This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of high-efficiency power conversion, contributing to cutting-edge research, design innovation, and global collaboration.


Key Responsibilities


  • Define, evaluate, and optimize converter topologies to meet demanding performance and system-level requirements.
  • Develop and validate simulation models to analyze losses and predict performance in compact, high-density power modules.
  • Generate and implement novel design concepts, contributing to intellectual property in areas such as converter architectures, control algorithms, and magnetics.
  • Research and develop advanced modulation and control strategies for high-efficiency DC-DC systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and produce detailed technical documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial research partners across Europe to drive technological innovation and knowledge exchange.


Qualifications


  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the design and optimization of DC-DC converters, including both isolated and non-isolated architectures.
  • Experience with High density/Frequency over 500k.
  • Hands-on expertise with wide bandgap semiconductors (SiC, GaN) and associated gate driver design.
  • Strong analytical and experimental skills, with experience using simulation and hardware validation tools.
  • Demonstrated research output through publications, patents, or conference presentations.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Familiarity with applications in data centers, telecommunications, or high-performance computing is a strong plus.
