Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of power electronics experience.

Master's degree () with a focus on Power Electronics and 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience combination.

Expertise in power converter circuit/architecture analysis.

Proficiency in control loop implementation.

Hands-on experience with circuit simulation tools like PSIM and MATLAB.

Responsibilities:

Lead circuit-level design, simulation, and troubleshooting for power supply and inverter applications.

Manage projects involving a diverse range of applications, from low-power Point of Load supplies to high-power resonant converters.

Direct a small team on power electronics projects.

Read and interpret customer specifications, applying them to electronics design.

Utilize thermal design skills for component selection and thermal interface design.

Design circuits for electromagnetic interference and susceptibility attenuation.

Select, analyze, test, and document electronic components for new and existing products.

Develop and test prototype power electronics systems, including field support and customer visits as needed.

Stay updated on technology advancements through collaboration with CPES at Virginia Tech.
