Stretching across diverse landscape like the famous Jurassic Coast, the Mendip Hills, white cliffs of Dorset and Wiltshire’s Salisbury Plain, as well as the cities of Bath and Bristol, the company provides high-quality water services to 1.4 million customers and sewage services to 2.9 million customers.\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Planner to support delivery of a flagship £200m+ wastewater infrastructure programme within a long-term Tier 1 capital delivery framework in the water sector. The role will primarily work on a major Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) upgrade programme at Poole while also providing support across the wider framework portfolio as required. \n\nThe role of a Construction Programme Planner includes: \n\nDevelop detailed construction programmes using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)\nMonitor progress against baseline schedules and update regularly.\nIdentifyrisks, delays, and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies.\nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align schedules with site activities.\nProduce progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and clients.\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and project milestones.\nSupport tender planning and bid submissions with realistic programme schedules.\nMaintain accurate records of programme changes and justifications.\nWhat you’ll need: \n\nDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline ().\nExperience in large-scale projects within the water sector\nProven experience in programme planning within construction or infrastructure projects.\nFamiliarity with NEC, JCT, or other standard forms of contract.\nProfessional membership (e.g., APM, CIOB, ICE) is advantageous.\nCompetency in the use of Primavera P6 and an interest in 4D planning\nStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies, and industry standards.\nProficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).\nA valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region\nWhat’s in it for you: \nAlongside our significant training and development investment, bespoke progression plan and support to achieve professional chartership, we offer a wide range of financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits that you can tailor to your needs. \n\nREF-(Apply online only)
