Our client, a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider in Suwanee, GA, is looking for a hands-on Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead and elevate their production floor.
In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of PCB assembly and electronic component manufacturing—driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the Floor – Direct daily manufacturing operations for SMT, through-hole, and final assembly processes.
- Inspire & Develop Teams – Mentor supervisors, operators, and technicians to build a high-performance culture.
- Deliver Results – Hit production schedules, meet quality goals, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Improve Continuously – Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives to boost yield and productivity.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance – Uphold IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, AS9100 (if applicable), and customer standards.
- Keep It Running – Maintain equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, and OSHA-level safety.
- Use Data to Win – Track KPIs like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and productivity—act quickly on trends.
- Collaborate Across the Business – Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Operations Management certifications ().
- 5+ years in manufacturing operations, including 2+ years in EMS leadership.
- Strong PCB assembly and SMT process experience.
- Deep knowledge of electronics manufacturing standards (IPC, ISO, AS).
- Hands-on with ERP/MES systems and production planning tools.
- A proven leader who motivates teams, solves problems, and gets results.
