Senior O&M Technician
We are seeking a Senior O&M Technician to join a leading international renewable energy company with operations across Italy.
The role is based in the Lazio region and involves regular travel to solar plants across the area.
Role responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on solar plants, coordinating external resources when needed
- Monitor plant performance and availability, ensuring compliance with guaranteed values and local regulations
- Maintain accurate records and logs, manage digital files and backups
- Handle spare parts management and oversee third-party activities
- Manage and update CMMS systems and internal platforms
- Work remotely with frequent travel across Lazio
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on solar projects over 1 MW (solar experience strongly preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in other electrical roles
- Previous experience leading a team and coordinating subcontractors, with a strong network of local partners
- Hands-on experience with string inverters, trackers, MV/HV equipment, IT systems (communications, cameras, optical fiber), and CMMS
- Electrically qualified with proven MV experience
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation
- Fluent in both English and Italian
- Valid driver’s license
