Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer - To £72K + Package\n\nWondering when the next project will land?\n\nEnjoy working on high-rise residential and hotel projects?\n\nThis multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy has a confirmed order book for the next 12 months and continues to secure all its work via repeat business.\n\nIt's a business built on trust and flexibility.\n\nYou'll have the autonomy to lead projects your way, but also the structure and support to keep growing.\n\nNo unnecessary red tape, no endless sign-offs, just a team of experienced hands-on MEP Engineers that genuinely enjoy what they do.\n\nDue to growth, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer to lead projects from RIBA stages 2 - 4 and take some of the pressure off the Associates and Director.\n\nAs a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll have full autonomy over your projects and enjoy a hybrid working pattern of 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home.\n\nYou'll work in a stylish, top-floor office with views across London with modern breakout areas, lightning-fast internet, secure bike storage, showers, and a proper kitchen.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAttend client and site meetings.\nDesign innovative mechanical building services, including HVAC and above-ground water services.\nCoordinate MEP services across design teams and disciplines.\nIntegrate renewable and low-carbon energy systems into building designs.\nPrepare specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules for HVAC systems.\nReview RFIs, technical submittals, and contractor design information.\nMentor and support junior and intermediate mechanical engineers\nManage project profitability, ensuring designs meet programme and budget targets.\nEnsure your designs comply with CIBSE guidelines, British Standards, and client-specific requirements such as CP1.Requirements\n\nMinimum 8 years' experience in building services design, i.e., HVAC\nCurrently working for a consultancy, designing residential, hotel, or mixed-use projects.\nProven ability in leading projects and managing a few Intermediate Engineers\nAble to work in the UK, without the need to be sponsored
