Pay: Up to $127,000.00 per year

Job description:

Position Responsibilities & Accountabilities

▪ Design and develop mechanical systems and

equipment to support manufacturing, field

operations, and product development.

▪ Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and

detailed drawings using SolidWorks or similar

CAD tools.

▪ Develop complete engineering documentation,

including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs),

and specifications.

▪ Provide technical direction and support to

designers and drafters.

▪ Collaborate with Manufacturing, Assembly, and

Field Service teams to ensure design feasibility,

manufacturability, and serviceability.

▪ Support prototype development, testing, and

validation of new designs and equipment.

▪ Troubleshoot mechanical issues in production

and field environments; recommend and

implement corrective actions.

▪ Conduct engineering analysis (including basic

stress, load, and tolerance analysis) to support

design decisions.

▪ Research and specify components, materials,

and equipment to support project and

operational needs.

▪ Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics

teams to support component selection,

sourcing, and vendor alignment as required.

▪ Support installation, commissioning, and field

troubleshooting activities as required.

▪ Contribute to continuous improvement

initiatives to enhance equipment performance,

reliability, and cost efficiency.

Risk, Quality, and Compliance

▪ Ensure engineering activities comply with

company policies, procedures, and applicable

regulatory and quality management system

(QMS) requirements.

▪ Develop and review engineering designs,

specifications, and documentation in

accordance with established standards and

design control processes.

▪ Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and

design-related risks throughout the project

lifecycle.

▪ Support design verification and validation

activities to ensure product performance,

safety, and reliability.

▪ Maintain accurate and controlled engineering

documentation, including drawings,

calculations, and revisions.

▪ Support root cause analysis and corrective and

preventive actions (CAPA) related to

engineering issues.

▪ Collaborate with Quality, Production, and

Operations to resolve non-conformances and

improve product performance.

▪ Support internal and external audits as

required.

Education & Experience:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

required; Master’s degree .

▪ Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in

mechanical design of industrial equipment,

automated machinery, or similar systems.

▪ Strong experience with 3D CAD software

(SolidWorks ); AutoCAD is a plus.

▪ Experience designing moving mechanical

systems, structures, and assemblies.

▪ Experience supporting manufacturing and field

operations environments.

▪ Knowledge of engineering analysis methods

(e.g., stress, load calculations, FEA ).

Technical & professional Skills:

▪ Strong understanding of mechanical design

principles, materials, and manufacturing

processes.

▪ Proficiency in GD&T and drafting standards

(ASME Y14.5).

▪ Ability to create detailed, accurate engineering

documentation and drawings.

▪ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting

skills.

▪ Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior

engineers and designers.

▪ Effective written and verbal communication

skills.

▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and

engineering systems/tools.

▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt

to changing project requirements.
