Manager Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer or Manager of Mechanical Engineering, you will play a critical role in having client interfacing along with some business development regarding your experience involving an understanding of mechanical designs and calculations for HVAC. Other skills such as Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection systems also a plus to include MEP and Building Systems projects. Leading other Mechanical Engineers over QA and QC and coordinating design information will be a responsibility for this role.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years experience
- Design of Mechanical HVAC
- Knowledgeable of Chilled and Hot Water Piping, Steam, and Building Automation systems
- Knowledge/some exposure of Plumbing, Natural Gas and Fire Protection systems and design
- Ability to research related codes and standards to ensure design compliance
- Ability to traverse sites, including walking through projects under construction
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of REVIT
