Senior Mechanical Engineer – Healthcare Facilities
Orlando, FL | Full-Time | Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the A/E environment to join a dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse commercial projects from concept through construction, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and managing project delivery in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Basic Qualifications

  • Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an architecture/engineering (A/E) setting
  • Proven success managing mechanical engineering projects
  • Broad technical knowledge of mechanical systems and related disciplines

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certifications in mechanical engineering or sustainability
  • Experience with commercial facility design and energy-efficient systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering projects of various sizes, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery
  • Supervise and mentor engineering staff, fostering technical skill development and career growth
  • Coordinate project efforts internally and with clients, architects, and other disciplines
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
  • Support proposal development and assist in business development activities
