Orlando, FL | Full-Time | Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the A/E environment to join a dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse commercial projects from concept through construction, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and managing project delivery in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Basic Qualifications
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an architecture/engineering (A/E) setting
- Proven success managing mechanical engineering projects
- Broad technical knowledge of mechanical systems and related disciplines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certifications in mechanical engineering or sustainability
- Experience with commercial facility design and energy-efficient systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering projects of various sizes, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff, fostering technical skill development and career growth
- Coordinate project efforts internally and with clients, architects, and other disciplines
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
