Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Design | MEP Consulting

Growing MEP firm seeks Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design for K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings across the Southeast.

What You'll Do

• Execute business development initiatives to grow relationships with municipalities and school districts
• Design comprehensive HVAC systems from conceptualization through 100% construction documents
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams on complex educational and healthcare projects
• Perform load calculations, equipment selections, layouts, and piping design using Autodesk Revit
• Collaborate directly with clients, junior staff, and senior leadership on project delivery
• Analyze design verification data and coordinate quality control processes
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and performance criteria in fast-paced environment
• Mentor emerging engineers and support their professional development

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10+ years consulting engineering or A/E firm experience
• Proven business development and client relationship management skills
• Strong Autodesk Revit proficiency for MEP construction documents
• Leadership experience managing teams and complex projects
