Senior Mechanical Engineer 1 - Nuclear

Description

This is a senior-level mechanical engineering position offering a variety of challenging responsibilities.

We seek candidates experienced in the analysis, design, and licensing of mechanical and nuclear systems for nuclear power plants.

The role involves designing nuclear power plant systems, including preparing or reviewing:

Modification packages for operating nuclear power plants

System and component performance specifications

Functional mechanical drawings for nuclear systems

Engineering analyses supporting modifications and operations

Technical specifications and procurement documents

Vendor bid evaluations

Studies for modifications to operating plants

Qualifications

Note: We do not sponsor work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

At least 5 years of experience in the power industry

Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations relevant to nuclear mechanical design
