Job Description

The Senior Mechanical/Electrical Engineer provides leadership and technical expertise across estimating, design review, scheduling, and commissioning on major commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities
• Develop detailed M/E estimates and perform systems analysis and value engineering
• Review design documents and identify quality or constructability issues
• Coordinate M/E scopes through bid, buyout, and construction phases
• Oversee commissioning process, including checklists, testing, and documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous process improvement
• Negotiate subcontracts and equipment purchases
• Build and maintain client relationships; support business development efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (or related field)
• 10+ years of M/E construction management experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office, scheduling tools, BIM, and construction management software
• Ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and ensure project quality and profitability
