An excellent opportunity for an experienced & preferably Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer capable of taking a senior role with a progression plan into a Chief role within 6-12 months.



 Senior Mechanical Design Engineer  - The Role:



Concept/detailed mechanical design

Lead a team of 4 Mechanical Design Engineers

Take a client facing role

Be the primary point of contact for the mechanical design team



Senior Mechanical Design Engineer  - The Person:



Solid mechanical design preferably of rotating equipment

Be capable to carry out full mechanical calculations including tolerances, stress & FEA

Be degree qualified and preferably Chartered

Proven ability to lead a team of Engineers

Proven background working for a company who design and manufacture machinery - must be able to support production/assembly

Competent with quality assurance

Must have experience of fatigue analysis

Preferably experienced with dynamic balancing issues around resonant frequencies
