About The RoleEngineered to Protect, thats our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world.Support the delivery of mechanical analysis activities within the engineering team by applying knowledge of structural, thermal, and fluid flow analysis using classical calculation methods and FEA/CFD simulation tools.Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer will be based at either our Beckington, Bristol or Barnstaple sites. This role allows for flexible working.The salary for this role is up to £54k, depending on experience.Whatyoullbedoing Assist with engineering analyses through use of appropriate tools and techniques, to include FEA, hand calculations, technical studies, and development activities to support projects across the business and help deliver high-quality engineering solutionsSupport the development of engineering capability within the Mechanical Engineering function by applying knowledge of classical calculation techniques and simulation analysis tools such as Abaqus, Ansys, or similarAbout our companyAt SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.We provide state-of-the-art applications for naval ship and fleet protection, and undersea surveillance systems.
