Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics)

Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) to join their dynamic team in Fife, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role within a highly respected global leader in Manufacturing and Defence projects.



Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance *minimum 5 years UK *



Key Responsibilities:



Work on the full test lifecycle and diagnostics process

Provide input to design authorities for successful DFM/DFT implementation

Support bid work as required

Engage in process improvement tasks

Mentor junior engineers early in their career

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success



Job Requirements:



Proven experience in electronics test and diagnostics, particularly in a high-reliability environment

Electronics qualification such as HND or degree

Experience working on defence or military products

Knowledge of high reliability electronics

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Permanent UK with successful background checks for a baseline BPSS security check
