Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Kreider Farms is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our dedicated maintenance team in a fast-paced food processing and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, along with a proven track record in managing maintenance operations.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all production equipment. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-performing facility, driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Additionally, candidates should have project management experience to lead capital improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and process optimization projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles within a food processing and manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance management.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and troubleshooting automated systems.
• Prior experience managing or supervising a team of maintenance professionals.
• Project management experience, with the ability to lead and execute capital improvement projects and equipment installations.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in regulated environments.
