Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Maintenance Mechanic role in Portland. Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine and preventative maintenance on conveyor and sorter systems, forklifts, racking, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and other warehouse/office equipment.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to keep operations running efficiently.
· Maintain detailed logs and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
· Safely complete work orders assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager in a timely manner.
· Occasionally perform light janitorial or facility-related tasks as needed.
· Foster open and effective communication across departments to support smooth operations.
· Adhere to safety protocols, including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

· 5–7 years of experience maintaining warehouse or industrial equipment.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand and power tools.
· Intermediate computer skills with the ability to log and track work accurately.
· Solid knowledge of safety practices and emergency procedures.
· Physical ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, move freely throughout the facility, and regularly lift/carry up to 40+ pounds.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
