Our client is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to oversee shipping, transportation, and inventory operations. This role is critical to ensuring timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination across carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3PM-11:30PM (extended hours through 2025: 1PM-11:30PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee custom craft and packaging.
  • Train and guide logistics team members.
  • Support warehouse logistics and tooling tracking.
  • Track KPIs, analyze logistics data, and report findings to management.
  • Coordinate carriers, vendors, and internal teams for pickups and deliveries.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damages, and compliance issues.
  • Prepare and process shipping paperwork (bills of lading, packing slips, compliance docs)
  • Ensure adherence to domestic/international shipping regulations, customs, and hazardous materials requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records; support cycle counts and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience required.
  • HAZMAT handling experience .
  • Equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • ERP system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, SYSPRO, etc.)
  • Knowledge of trade compliance, DOT/IATA regulations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • 5+ years in logistics/shipping operations (medical device manufacturing )
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field .
