Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to provide program management and application development modernization support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The successful candidate will lead enterprise-level IT projects, oversee modernization initiatives leveraging low-code platforms (with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Power Platform), and ensure effective delivery of mission-critical capabilities in compliance with USCG policies and standards.

This role requires a blend of project management expertise, hands-on technical knowledge, and proven success delivering complex federal IT modernization efforts in multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise and project-level management activities, including strategy, planning, risk/issue tracking, documentation (PMP, QMP, CMP, Risk Mitigation, and schedules), stakeholder communication, and performance reporting to ensure successful execution of USCG initiatives.
Drive discovery, Agile development, and delivery of low-code solutions (e.g., Power Platform), overseeing backlog management, MVP implementation, infrastructure readiness, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with USCG IT security, release, and configuration management standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of IT project management experience, with subject matter expertise in federal IT programs.

• Extensive experience managing complex government IT modernization projects.

• Strong background in Microsoft Power Platform implementations.

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage multi-vendor, multi-disciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Must be eligible for a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  
   

  Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline.

• SAFe or other Agile certifications.

• Previous experience with U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security programs.

• PMP certification strongly .
