Senior IT Data Engineer

Introduction
We are seeking highly skilled Senior IT Data Engineer to support mission-critical contracts with our Federal and DoD clients. We are building advanced systems leveraging technologies to solve complex security challenges. We are also pioneering GenAI application development and test automation, and need innovative engineers ready to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess several of the following skills: .

• At least ten years of demonstrated experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, CouchDB, HBase, Cosmos DB
• At least seven years of experience evaluating, working in production environments with cloud data systems, including RDBMs, data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines
• Experience with RDBMs, NoSQL databases

Requirements and Education / Certifications

• Ability to pass a Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (required at time of hiring)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of professional experience in related subjects
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
• AWS Data Engineer Associate
• AWS Developer Associate
• Ability to implement and manage cloud-based data and big data systems, including: Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift.
• Ability to use infrastructure as code (IaC) such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation to build and configure data systems as part of a DevOps program.
• Ability to implement and manage hybrid data systems including a mixture of cloud and on-premises data systems such as MS SQL Server.
• S. Citizenship (due to contract requirements)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working in cross-functional teams
