Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer - Operator Secondment Opportunity

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer to join a major Export Compressor UCP Upgrade project supporting a zero-routine-flaring initiative.
This role involves being seconded directly into the operator's project team, providing technical leadership and engineering oversight throughout the upgrade.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level Controls & Instrumentation engineering support to a major compressor UCP upgrade.
- Review design deliverables, technical documents, and vendor packages.
- Support project integration, testing, commissioning and assurance activities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, projects and engineering teams to ensure safe and compliant execution.
- Provide technical input throughout project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with industry standards and offshore requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years' Controls & Instrumentation engineering and project experience (offshore experience preferred).
- Strong background in compressor controls, instrumentation systems, and project delivery.
- Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; Chartered status preferred.
- Offshore certification (BOSIET) is a must.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
